Between Manchester Piccadilly and Paignton, and also between Nottingham / Leicester / Birmingham New Street and Cardiff Central

Description

Constraints on train crew availability means some CrossCountry services on some of their routes will be cancelled or revised today.

The following routes are affected:

  • Manchester Piccadilly and Paignton

  • Nottingham / Birmingham New Street and Cardiff Central

Manchester Piccadilly - Paignton:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • The two CrossCountry services operating before and the two CrossCountry services after your cancelled service as far as Exeter St Davids

  • Great Western Railway services between Exeter St Davids and Paignton

Nottingham / Birmingham New Street - Cardiff Central:

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on:

  • The two CrossCountry services operating before and the two CrossCountry services after your cancelled service as far as Bristol Parkway

  • Great Western Railway services between Bristol Parkway and Cardiff Central

  • Transport for Wales services between Gloucester / Cheltenham Spa and Cardiff Central

The following rail replacement transport, which will appear in online journey planners, has been sourced:

  • 19:45 from Birmingham New Street to Newport (South Wales), calling at Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa (operated by HS2 Travel)
