Between Rhymney and Bridgend / Barry Island

Description

A fire next to the track between Rhymney and Bargoed means the line is blocked. As a result, trains will be unable to run between these stations and will be cancelled.

We expected disruption to continue until approximately 12:30.

Customer advice:

Transport for Wales have road transport running between Rhymney and Bargoed, to help you complete your journey, at no extra cost.

Services will depart at the following times:

  • Rhymney to Bargoed XX:50 and XX:15

  • Bargoed to Rhymney XX:30 and XX:00

Road transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.

You may also use Stagecoach buses 25, 50, 51 and 53 between Rhymney and Caerphilly to help complete your journey at no extra cost.
