Description

A person has been hit by a train between Romsey and Eastleigh. So that the emergency services can safely carry out their work, all lines are closed.

Trains operating between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised as a result.

Disruption is expected until 15:00.

Customer advice:

Response teams and emergency services are on their way to site.

In order to allow emergency services access to the railway, all power to the track will need to be switched off in the affected area.

South and West local services:

Salisbury to Romsey services are currently unable to run through and call at Chandlers Ford. These services will start and end their journey at Eastleigh.

How do I get to my destination?

You can continue to travel between Salisbury and Eastleigh, however, trains are unable to call at Chandlers Ford until further notice.

Any passengers that require Chandlers Ford there will be a bus at Eastleigh at approximately 10:50 and at Romsey at approximately 11:30 and will shuttle between Eastleigh and Romsey via Chandlers Ford.
