Description
Flooding between New Mills Central and Chinley is causing disruption to services between these stations. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
We anticipate this to continue until approximately 18:30.
Trains to / from Rose Hill Marple can now run following earlier flooding.

Manchester Piccadilly - Sheffield services are diverting via Stockport
There is no route for train services between New Mills Central and Chinley in both directions.
Alternative travel suggestions:
Road transport has been requested to operate between New Mills Central and Chinley in both directions as required and will be updated when confirmed.
Northern tickets may be used at no extra cost on board the following Bee Network bus services in both directions;
Manchester – Marple = 192, 358 and 385
Manchester – Hyde = 201
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
If the train you have a ticket for is cancelled, you can travel on any Northern, TransPennine Express or LNER service within 2 hours before or after your cancelled service was due to depart.
