Description
A fault with the signalling system in the Rotherham Central area means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between Doncaster and Sheffield may be cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes, revised or diverted.
Disruption is expected until 13:00.

Northern customer advice:
Fewer services are able to run between Sheffield and Doncaster in both directions.
Alternative travel suggestions:
Passengers from Rotherham and Swinton can change at Meadowhall for services to Mexborough and Conisbrough.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on TransPennine Express services between Doncaster and Sheffield.
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

You should continue to travel as planned, however, your journey may be delayed by 10 minutes.
Trains running between Cleethorpes and Liverpool Lime Street will divert via Rotherham Central where possible.
