Description

All lines have now reopened following an earlier points failure between Rugby and Milton Keynes Central. Trains running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 40 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

London Northwestern Railway customer advice:

Rail replacement services will operate between Northampton and Milton Keynes, in both directions from 18:00.

You may use your ticket onboard Avanti West Coast services between Rugby and London Euston at no extra cost.

Passengers travelling to London Euston from Birmingham New Street have the option of alighting at Rugby to change on to services travelling direct to Milton Keynes.
