Description

Following overrunning engineering works between Rugby and Northampton / Milton Keynes Central all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains running between these stations may still be delayed, cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

To help you complete your journey, rail replacement transport is running between Rugby / Luton and Milton Keynes Central.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost, on the following routes:

  • Chiltern Railways services between London Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street in both directions

  • East Midlands Railway services between London St Pancras International and Manchester Piccadilly / Liverpool Lime Street via Sheffield in both directions

  • LNER services between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh in that direction only

  • LNER services between London Kings Cross and Leeds in both directions

  • ScotRail services between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street in that direction only

  • Thameslink services between Luton and London St Pancras International in both directions

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.
