Description

Following a fault with the signalling system in the Rugby area, all lines have reopened. Whilst service recovers, trains running between Coventry and Rugby may be delayed by up to 60 minutes, revised or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 12:15.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services and routes:

• Chiltern Railways services between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone in both directions

• CrossCountry services between Stafford and Leamington Spa via Birmingham New Street in both directions

• Transport for Wales services between Wolverhampton and Birmingham International in both directions

• West Midlands Railway or London Northwestern Railway services between Stafford and Coventry via Wolverhampton, and also between Stafford and Rugby via Nuneaton in both directions

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

Rail replacement transport:

To help you complete your journey, rail replacement transport has been confirmed to shuttle between Coventry / Rugby / Long Buckby and Northampton.

Rail replacement shuttles are expected to arrive at Northampton, Coventry and Rugby before 09:00.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Avanti West Coast services on any reasonable route between Birmingham New Street and London Euston.
