Description

A broken down train at Rugeley Town means that lines are disrupted. As a result, trains between Walsall and Rugeley Trent Valley may be cancelled or revised.

This is expected until 18:00.

Customer advice:

Train services are unable to run between Rugeley Town and Rugeley Trent Valley. A rescue operation is currently underway to move the affected train.

In the meantime, Birmingham International to Rugeley Trent Valley services will terminate and start from Rugeley Town.

Replacement road transport has been requested to operate in both directions calling at:

  • Walsall

  • Hednesford

  • Rugeley Town

  • Rugeley Trent Valley

Your ticket can be used on rail replacement services at no extra cost.
