Description

A fault with the signalling system in the Runcorn area means that the line towards Liverpool Lime Street is closed. As a result, trains running between Crewe / Chester and Liverpool Lime Street will be delayed by up to 35 minutes, cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 15:45.

Your ticket can be used on the following services at no extra cost:

  • Avanti West Coast services between Crewe and Liverpool Lime Street (please be aware Avanti West Coast services are also affected by this disruption)

  • Northern services between Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool Lime Street until 15:00

Rail replacement transport has been arranged to run between Crewe and Liverpool South Parkway in both directions until further notice.
