Trains between Shanklin and Ryde Pier Head
Description
Flooding between Ryde Esplanade and Ryde Pier Head means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains are unable to run to / from Ryde Pier Head and will be revised to start / terminate at Ryde Esplanade.
Disruption is expected until 18:00.
Customer advice:
Trains will be unable to call at Ryde Pier Head until the flooding on the pier recedes to safe levels.
Until further notice, the following alterations will be necessary:
Trains starting at Ryde Pier Head will now start at Ryde Esplanade
Trains running to Ryde Pier Head will now terminate at Ryde Esplanade
Minibuses have been arranged to run between Ryde Esplanade and Ryde Pier Head until the line reopens.
