A broken down train between Manchester Victoria and Salford Crescent / Newton-le-Willows / Manchester Oxford Road means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Road transport will be operated by Bestway as follows:
From Manchester Victoria at 19:00, calling at all stations to Hebden Bridge
From Manchester Victoria at 19:00, calling at all stations to Wigan Wallgate via Atherton
Please check station information posters for the location of the bus pick-up points and be advised that bicycles, e-bikes and dogs (except for service dogs) are not permitted on replacement road transport.
Journey times may be extended by approximately 60 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
