Description
A failure of the overhead line equipment at Saltcoats means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains are unable to run between Kilwinning and Largs / Ardrossan Harbour.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Rail replacement transport has been arranged to run the following routes:
2 x buses departing Largs between 19:45 and 20:00
4 x buses departing Kilwinning between 19:00 and 19:45
Ticket acceptance:
To help with your journey your ticket can be used on McGills Buses at no extra cost:
901 Largs - Gourock - Greenock – Glasgow
904 Largs – Paisley
906 Largs - Greenock – Glasgow
38 Kilbarchan / Johnstone - Glasgow via Paisley
If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
