Description
All lines have reopened between Preston and Blackpool North / Blackpool South following the emergency services dealing with an incident earlier today.
Trains running between these stations may still be delayed by up to 60 minutes, cancelled or revised whilst service recovers.
This is expected until 14:00.

Customer advice:
Train services will not call at Kirkham & Wesham in both directions until further notice.
Northern tickets may be used at no additional costs on the following services:
Avanti West Coast services between Preston and Wigan North Western in both directions until 13:00
Blackpool Transport services between Blackpool and Lytham until further notice
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including advance and peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
Rail replacement transport (operated by S Line) has been organised to run as follows:
12:00 from Preston to Kirkham & Wesham and Poulton-Le-Fylde
12:00 Preston to Kirkham & Wesham and Moss Side
12:15 from Blackpool North calling at stations to Preston (operated by Bestway)
13:00 from Poulton-Le-Fylde to Kirkham & Wesham and Preston
13:00 from Moss side to Kirkham & Wesham and Preston
14:00 from Preston to Kirkham & Wesham and Poulton-Le-Fylde
14:00 from Preston to Kirkham & Wesham and Moss Side
Please check station information posters for the location of the bus pick up points and be advised that bicycles, e-bikes and dogs (excluding service dogs) are not permitted on replacement road transport. Please note, journey times will be extended by up to 60 minutes when using road replacement transport.
