A fault with the signalling system between Moorfields and Sandhills means that the line is being disrupted. As a result, trains running between Liverpool Central and Sandhills may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

If you are travelling from Liverpool towards Headbolt Lane you should board any Ormskirk or Southport service and change at Sandhills for trains to Headbolt Lane.
