Description

A fault with the signalling system between Ashford International and Dover Priory means some lines are blocked.

As a result, trains running between these stations may be delayed, cancelled, diverted or revised.

Disruption is expected to continue until 15:30.

What's happened?

There is a signalling problem between Sandling and Folkestone West, blocking the line towards Dover Priory. Response staff are on the way, and are expected to arrive at approximately 14:15.

How does this affect my journey?

Trains are unable to run from Ashford International towards Dover Priory.

Trains from London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover Priory may be diverted via Canterbury West. Trains in the other direction on this route towards London are able to run normally.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Dover Priory via Tonbridge will be delayed, or may only run between London Charing Cross and Ashford International in both directions.

What do I Need to do?

If you are travelling from stations between London & Ashford, to the following stations:

Sandwich, Deal, Walmer or Martin Mill, please travel via Ramsgate and change there.

If you are travelling from stations between London and Ashford to Dover, please travel via Ramsgate or, change at Canterbury West then walk to Canterbury East for a a train to Dover.
