Description
Storm Boelo has been named by the Met Office. Southeastern are currently dealing with multiple incidents across the network. Staff are responding to all incidents and below is an update for each. Please allow extra time to complete your journey today and check before you travel.
Rochester
A signalling fault means trains are unable to run between Rochester and Strood. Trains via Sole Street can run, but may be delayed around Rochester. Response staff are attending to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Tickets can be used at no extra cost on Arriva route 190 between Chatham and Gravesend, Fastrack between Gravesend, Dartford and Ebbsfleet, London Underground between terminal stations.
Maidstone Barracks / Medway Valley line
The tree blocking the railway has now been removed and trains have resumed running, but may be disrupted while we work to resume normal service.
Chilham
Another tree has fallen around Chilham and trains are unable to run between Ashford and Canterbury West in both directions. Response staff have been asked to attend. Tickets can be used at no extra cost on Stagecoach Buses between Margate, Canterbury and Ashford International.
