Between Driffield / Goole / Selby and Hull

Description

Following a fault with the signalling system at Hull all lines between Selby and Hull have reopened.

There was also an earlier fault at a level crossing between Selby and Hull which has now been rectified.

As a result of these two earlier problems, trains running between Driffield / Goole / Selby and Hull may still be delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Major disruption is expected until 22:00.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
