Incident resolved: residual disruption between Clapham Junction and West Croydon expected until 13:00

Description

Trains are returning to normal following a safety inspection of the track between Clapham Junction and Selhurst. As service recovers, trains running between Clapham Junction and West Croydon may still be delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised.

This is expected until 13:00.

Customer advice:

You can use your planned route to travel, however some services running now may still be altered or delayed.

We recommend allowing up to 20 minutes more time to travel.

Your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on alternative Southern services between Clapham Junction and West Croydon.

The line towards West Croydon was blocked at Streatham Common earlier this morning due to an obstruction on the railway. The obstruction has now been removed, however some services are still affected by residual disruption.
