Trains between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin

Description

A shortage of train crew between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin means that fewer trains are able to run on all lines. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised.

This is expected until the end of the day.

What Island Line are doing about it:

Until further notice the following alterations will be necessary:

  • 18:03 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin will terminate at Ryde St Johns Road

  • 18:51 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head - cancelled

  • 19:26 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin - cancelled

  • 20:10 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head - cancelled

  • 20:52 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin - cancelled

  • 21:23 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head - cancelled

  • 21:57 Ryde Pier Head to Shanklinwill start at Ryde St Johns Road

  • 22:33 Shanklin to Ryde Pier Head will terminate at Ryde St Johns Road

  • 23:17 Ryde Pier Head to Ryde St Johns Road - cancelled

To assist you with your journey, your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on bus operator Southern Vectis 2 and 3 between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin from 18:00 until 23:30.

Replacement road transport has been arranged to run from 18:00 until 23:30 between Ryde Esplanade and Ryde Pier Head.
