Between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin
Description
A fault on a train that runs between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin means all lines are blocked. Trains running between these stations will be cancelled.
Disruption is expected until approximately 12:00.
Customer advice:
The train crew are in contact with the fleet maintenance team who are investigating and working towards fixing the fault.
Until the faulty is train is moved, services on the Island line are unable to run.
Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost on Southern Vectis 2 & 3 between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin.
Rail replacement buses will run as follows:
1 minibus to start from Ryde Esplanade to Ryde Pier Head, it will then shuttle between these stations
1 minibus to start from Ryde Esplanade, calling at all stations to Shanklin, it will then shuttle between these stations
1 minibus to start from Shanklin, calling at all stations to Ryde Esplanade, it will then shuttle between these stations
Please note these replacement buses will not be running to a timetable.
