Description
Emergency engineering works between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin means trains are unable to run between these stations and will be cancelled or revised.
Brading, Sandown, Lake and Shanklin will not be served.
Train services will only be running between Ryde Pier Head and Ryde St Johns Road, in both directions, between the hours of 06:00 and 14:00.
This is expected until approximately 14:00.
What South Western Railway are doing about it:
Emergency engineering works will be taking place on the Island Line between Ryde St Johns Road and Shanklin.
A full service is expected to resume after these works have been completed.
Ticket acceptance:
Your rail ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on Southern Vectis 2 & 3 services between Ryde Esplanade - Shanklin.
Replacement buses:
South Western Railway have also arranged a replacement bus to run from Ryde St Johns Road at 08:00 calling at Haven Street Station (for Smallbrook Junction), then shuttle as required.
This has been arranged to run between the hours of 08:00 and 14:00.
