Description

Lines have reopened following a points failure in the Meadowhall area. Trains running between Wakefield Westgate / Wakefield Kirkgate / Doncaster and Sheffield may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 50 minutes or revised whilst service recovers.

This is expected until 16:45.

Northern customer advice:

You may use your ticket at no extra cost on CrossCountry services via any reasonable route.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
