Description

The emergency services have completed their work following an earlier incident. This has allowed all lines between between Sheffield and Barnsley / Moorthorpe / Doncaster to reopen. Whilst service recovers, trains may still be delayed by up to 60 minutes, revised or cancelled.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Replacement transport has been requested to operate between Sheffield and Cleethorpes via Doncaster.

Please be aware that journey times will be extended.
