Description

A fault on a train between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction / Watford Junction means the line towards Shepherds Bush is blocked. Trains running between these stations may be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 07:00.

London Overground customer advice:

Shepherds Bush, Kensington Olympia, West Brompton, Imperial Wharf and Clapham Junction will not be served.

Tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on London Buses via any reasonable route.

Southern customer advice:

Services that run between East Croydon / Clapham Junction to Watford Junction will only be able to run as far as Shepherds Bush.

Services due to run between Watford Junction and East Croydon will start at Shepherds Bush.

You will need to use an alternative route, or an alternative transport provider, this morning. Please check station screens and planners for the latest information.

You can use your ticket on the following, at no extra cost:

  • London Overground between London Euston and Watford Junction

  • London Underground via any reasonable route between Harrow & Wealdstone and central London, and between London terminal train stations

  • London Buses between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction

Can you tell me more about the incident?

A train has developed a fault and is unable to move, blocking the line Watford Junction. This will affect services in both directions between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.

A rescue train has been sent to recover the stranded vehicle, with an ETA of 06:30. As soon as this happens we will be able to run as normal.

Network Rail are working to minimise disruption and we will update you as soon as we have more information.
