Description

Lines have now reopened a fault with the signalling system in the Shieldmuir area. Trains running between Carstairs / Lanark and Motherwell may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 10:00.

ScotRail customer advice:

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
