Description
A points failure between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Transport for Wales customer advice:
Trains are unable to run between Shrewsbury and Birmingham International.
A rail replacement shuttle has been organised to run between Shrewsbury, Wellington, Telford Central and Wolverhampton. This will run every hour from 06:30 until 21:30.
There is also a return journey in place calling at Wolverhampton, Telford Central, Wellington and Shrewsbury. This will run every hour from 06:45 until 20:45.

West Midlands Railway do not anticipate being able to restore a full train service for the remainder of the day. To keep you moving, they have implemented the following:
Trains will continue to operate between Shrewsbury and Telford Central, and between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street only.
Rail replacement buses will operate in both directions on the following routes:
between Shrewsbury and Telford Central
between Telford Central and Wolverhampton
between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton
It is recommend allowing extra time for your journey and checking your departure platform upon arrival at the station.
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on National Express West Midlands Buses between Birmingham, Walsall and Wolverhampton, including Willenhall and Darlaston.
