Description
Following a broken down train at Sole Street all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 10:30.
What's happened?
Unfortunately a train has broken down at Sole Street. The line towards Rochester is currently blocked.
A "rescue" train travelled to Sole Street and attached to the broken down train, in order to propel it to a position where the line was no longer blocked. The train is now on the move and the line is open for other services to run.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains via Sole Street may be delayed, altered or cancelled. Some services have been diverted via Maidstone East and Canterbury West, or via Dartford.
Services towards London are unaffected.
