Route(s) affected

Elizabeth line between Reading and Abbey Wood

Great Western Railway between Newbury and London Paddington

Description

A fault with the signallng system between Hayes & Harlington and Southall means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains between these stations may be cancelled or revised.

We expect this to continue until approximately 12:00.

Customer advice for Elizabeth line:

Eastbound trains travelling from Reading and Maidenhead will be unable to call at Hayes & Harlington and Southall.

Customers travelling eastbound from Reading or Maidenhead for Hayes & Harlington or Southall should continue to Ealing Broadway and change there for a westbound service back to their required station.

Heathrow Airport services will continue to serve Hayes & Harlington and Southall in both the eastbound and westbound directions.

Please allow additional time for your journey and check service information before travelling.

Customer advice for Great Western Railway:

Local stopping services between London Paddington and Newbury will only run between Reading and Newbury, in both directions.

Ticket flexibility:

If your train is cancelled, you will be able to travel on an alternative service operated by any other participating train company, either two hours before or two hours after the original departure time of the cancelled service, in order to reach your destination.

If you decide not to travel or cannot complete your journey due to cancellations, you are entitled to a full refund from your original point of sale.
