Trains between Southport and Liverpool Central

Description

Lines have now reopened following a points failure at Southport. However, whilst service recovers, trains between Southport and Hillside mat still be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 11:00.

Customer advice:

Rail replacement buses are in operation between Hillside and Southport, calling at Birkdale.

You can use your tickets at no extra cost on Stagecoach on route X2 and Arriva Buses on route 47.

Due to Birkdale crossing being closed, buses and rail replacement transport may take longer than usually advertised.
