Between Glasgow Central and Kilmarnock / Carlisle

Description

Speed restrictions have been put in place between Glasgow Central and Carlisle as a result of forecast heavy rain.

Glasgow Central - Kilmarnock services may be revised to run between Glasgow Central and Barrhead only, or be delayed by up to 20 minutes.

Glasgow Central - Carlisle services may be revised to run between Glasgow Central and Dumfries only, or be be delayed by up to 20 minutes.

There may also be further short notice cancellations or alterations.

Disruption is expected until 09:00 tomorrow, Tuesday 2 December.

Customer advice:

Your ScotRail ticket can be used to travel via any reasonable route, at no extra cost, in order to complete your journey.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.

Standby buses will be at Glasgow, Kilmarnock, Dumfries and Carlisle during today and will be used as required.
