The Met Office are advising that temperatures today are expected to be above average for the time of year.

Between 12:00 and 19:00 services on various routes will be subject to delay.

You are advised to please check your entire journey before you travel.

The following trains are subject to delay:

• Between Glasgow Central and Carlisle may be delayed by up to 15 minutes

• Between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts may be delayed by up to 15 minutes

• Between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Carstairs may be delayed by up to 10 minutes

• Between Glasgow Central and Lanark may be delayed by up to 10 minutes

• Between Anderston and Carstairs may be delayed by up to 10 minutes

• Between Dalmuir and Cumbernauld may be delayed by up to 5 minutes

• Between Dalmuir and Larkhall may be delayed by up to 5 minutes
