Description
Lines have now reopened following a number of incidents between London St Pancras International and St Albans City / Luton. However, whilst service recovers, trains running between these stations may be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised.
This is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
Earlier this evening, a passenger was causing a disturbance on a train at St Albans City, blocking one of the two northbound lines.
The train in question has now been moved, but there was then an alarm activation on a train at Elstree & Borehamwood.
All lines have reopened at both locations, but there have been some delays of around 20 minutes between West Hampstead Thameslink and St Albans City.
The delayed services have now continued their onward journeys, but if you are travelling on the route between Sutton and St Albans City in particular, your journey could still take longer.
A few trains may also be revised, and may not stop at all the usual stations. Please check online journey planning tools, and when travelling, check station screens and listen to announcements.
You can still use your normal route, but you may need to change trains more often to get to your destination.
