Description
Some lines between Luton Airport Parkway and London St Pancras International are closed to allow the emergency services to carry out their work safely. Services running between these stations may be delayed by up to 60 minutes, cancelled or revised.

How does this affect your train?
There are less tracks than normal available to use between Luton and London St Pancras International, meaning East Midlands Railway cannot run their usual number of trains.
East Midlands Railway expect to only run half of their trains on these routes this morning. Where possible, they will try and not cancel consecuctive trains.
How do you get where you need to be?
You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed by 60 minutes.
East Midlands Railway are currently looking at alternative arrangements to keep you on the move. Please remember that this can take time and be assured that they are working to arrange this as quickly as possible for you.
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on Thameslink services between Bedford and London St Pancras International. Please note that Thameslink are also affected by this disruption.
Some of East Midlands Railways usual ticket restrictions have been relaxed. If you hold an ‘Advance Ticket’ which is usually valid on a specific train you may use it to travel on any of their trains on this route this morning.
These arrangements will remain in place until the line re-opens and the train service recovers.

If you are travelling between St Albans City and West Hampstead Thameslink you may need to use an alternative service to complete your journey. This is due to emergency services dealing with an incident in the Cricklewood area.
Your journey may take longer than normal and you should allow an additional 30 minutes extra to reach your destination.
