Description
The emergency services are dealing with an incident between Marsden and Stalybridge, as a result, all lines are blocked. Trains running between Huddersfield and Stalybridge may be cancelled, delayed, revised or diverted.
Disruption is expected until 16:00.
Customer advice:
The emergency services are dealing with a fire in Standedge Tunnel, this is between Marsden and Stalybridge. Trains are currently unable to run between these locations in both directions. Staff are on-site.
Where possible trains will divert via the Calder Valley, trains that divert between Leeds and Manchester Victoria will NOT call at Huddersfield / Stalybridge.
Customers travelling from Manchester who require Huddersfield are advised where possible to Board TransPennine express services from Manchester Victoria and alight at Dewsbury and transfer to the Rail replacement services across to Huddersfield.
The following rail replacement transport will operate as follows:
Dewsbury to Huddersfield departing at XX:15 every hour from 10:15 until 14:15
Huddersfield to Dewsbury departing at XX:45 every hour from 09:45 until 14:45
Stalybridge to Huddersfield calling at Mossley, Greenfield, Slaithwaite and Marsden departing at XX:00 every hour from 09:00 until 14:00
Huddersfield to Manchester Piccadilly calling at Marsden, Slaithwaite, Greenfield, Mossley and Stalybridge departing at XX:00 every hour from 10:00 until 14:00

CrossCountry services between Leeds and Sheffield until 17:00

Northern services between Leeds / Huddersfield and Sheffield
