Description

All lines have reopened following a points failure in the Stalybridge area. As service recovers, trains running through the Stalybridge area may still be delayed, cancelled, revised or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

TransPennine Express customer advice:

Where possible trains will be diverted around the affected area and may no longer call at:

  • Manchester Victoria

  • Manchester Oxford Road

  • Huddersfield


Alternative TransPennine Express services between Manchester Piccadilly and Huddersfield / York are not currently affected by this problem.
