Description

A points failure between Coventry and Birmingham New Street means some lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes, revised or diverted.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

To / from Birmingham International

  • Passengers travelling northbound to Birmingham International should stay on your CrossCountry service and change at Birmingham New Street, boarding the next available Avanti West Coast, London Northwestern Railway or West Midlands Railway service towards this station

  • Passengers travelling from Birmingham International going towards Manchester Piccadilly should speak to station staff for assistance to Birmingham New Street for CrossCountry services beyond

To/from Coventry

  • Passengers travelling to Coventry should change at Leamington Spa and board the next available West Midlands Railway service towards this station

  • Passengers travelling from Coventry should board the next available West Midlands Railway service towards Leamington Spa and board CrossCountry services from there

You do not need to amend your ticket to use it on these services.

If your CrossCountry train is cancelled, then you can use your ticket on the two CrossCountry services operating before and the two CrossCountry services after your cancelled service.

Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over, but Coach B, H and L are unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.
