Description
Lines have reopened following animals on the railway in the Stirling area earlier today.
Services on routes to / from / through Stirling station may still be delayed by up to 45 minutes, cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until 21:00.
Customer advice:
Rail replacement buses will run between Stirling and Perth. These are expected as follows:
x1 bus on site at Stirling
x2 buses on site at Perth
You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination.
If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
Additional information:
There was a small number of cows on the line between Larbert and Stirling. Network Rail staff have removed the cattle from the line and trains are returning to normal.
