London Northwestern Railway between Stafford and Crewe
Description
A fault with the signalling system between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent means that the line towards Stoke-on-Trent is disrupted. As a result, services running between these stations may be delayed, cancelled or diverted via Crewe.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
CrossCountry customer advice:
When services are diverted Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield will not be served.
If your CrossCountry train is cancelled, you may use your ticket on the two CrossCountry train services operating before or the two CrossCountry train services after your cancelled service
Alternatively, you may use your ticket on the following services and routes at no extra cost:
Northern services between Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester Piccadilly
Note: You do not need to amend your ticket to use it on these services
London Northwestern Railway customer advice:
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on rail replacement taxis between Stafford and Stone in both directions until further notice.
Passengers are advised to travel on the express service to Crewe, and travel on services back towards Stafford for intermediate Stations where trains in that direction are operating their normal Stops.
A rail replacement minibus will be in operation between Stafford and Stone only (minibus is provided by Cosy Cruise)
