Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

What's happened?

Southeastern have received a report from a service travelling towards London from Hastings that ice on the rails in the Stonegate area was causing power supply issues for trains. While investigations were carried out, all lines were blocked.

Trains have now been able to get on the move between Hastings and Tunbridge Wells. A rail-cleaning train has been dispatched to run down from Tonbridge to Hastings and then back up to Tonbridge.

How does this affect my journey?

Trains between Tonbridge and Hastings may be delayed or cancelled.

The last service from Hastings to Tonbridge, scheduled departure 22:50, is expected to depart approximately 60 minutes late, to allow for the rail-cleaning train to run ahead of it and treat the line from Hastings towards Tonbridge.
