Description
The Met Office have issued yellow and amber weather warnings across England, Wales and Scotland today as Storm Bram is forecast to bring strong winds and heavy rain.
Please check your entire journey before you travel.
Current disruptions to services:
Totnes and Plymouth
Flooding between Totnes and Plymouth means some lines are closed. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 18:00.
Customer advice:
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services:
The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service
Great Western Railway services between Plymouth and Bristol Temple Meads. Great Western Railways are also affected by this disruption.
If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost
Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are the unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.
Check before you travel:
You can check your journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner.
Please take note of any Service Updates that may be showing with a warning triangle on your journey.
Compensation:
You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.
