Description

There were reports of a rail buckling in the heat earlier today between Whitlocks End and Stratford-upon-Avon. The line has been inspected and has reopened with a speed restriction in place over the section of defective track to allow trains to travel through the area safely. Trains may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.

This is expected until the end of the day.

While tracks have reopened, trains must run at a reduced speed, meaning delays are likely. The replacement bus shuttle will remain active to support your journey.
