Description
A tree on the railway between Wilmslow and Styal means the lines towards Manchester Airport are blocked. Trains running between Manchester Piccadilly and Wilmslow via Styal may be cancelled, revised or diverted via Stockport.
Disruption is expected until 14:30.

How does this affect my journey?
Train services are unable to run between Wilmslow and Styal in this direction only.
Services between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly via Manchester Airport will be diverted via Stockport and will not call at Styal, Manchester Airport, Heald Green, Gatley, East Didsbury, Burnage and Mauldeth Road.
Northern services between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly via Stockport and Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly are not affected.
What should I do?
Customers at Styal who require stations towards Manchester Airport are advised to travel to Wilmslow and change for Northern services towards Manchester to connect with alternative services towards Manchester Airport.
Customers wishing to depart at Styal are advised to change at Manchester Piccadilly for connecting services toward Styal with are unaffected by this disruption.
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
