Description
The emergency services are dealing with an incident near the railway between York and Newcastle / Middlesbrough / Sunderland. Whilst they conduct their work all lines are closed. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Major disruption is expected until 13:00.

Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are the unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.
Road transport has been requested to run between York and Newcastle.
One full size coach has been confirmed to head to Newcastle, estimated to depart at 10:30.

From Middlesbrough, departing at xx:39, every hour to York, calling at the following stations as required, Thornaby, Eaglescliffe, Yarm, Northallerton, Thirsk
Customers starting their journey from Thirsk, Northallerton, Yarm, Eaglescliffe, Thornaby, please see station staff for onward road transport as required.

From York, departing at xx:22, every hour calling at Darlington, Durham and Newcastle
From Newcastle, departing at xx:02, every hour calling at Durham, Darlington and York
Customers travelling to / from Chester-le-Street please see station staff for onward road transport as required.
