Description
Following a fault on a train between Haywards Heath and Three Bridges, all lines have now reopened. Whilst service recovers, trains running between Haywards Heath and Gatwick Airport may still be delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 02:00.

Services are now able to run from Haywards Heath towards Three Bridges and Gatwick Airport. The line has now reopened, however services trough this area will continue to be delayed or revised at short-notice.
Services running between Three Bridges and Haywards Heath will continue to be significantly delayed in both directions as a result of this issue. If you're travelling now, you will be able to travel along this route, but you will need to leave at least 45 minutes additional time for your journey.
Your ticket will be accepted at no additional cost on the below:
Alternative Southern and Thameslink services between London and the south coast via Haywards Heath or via Horsham
Alternative Gatwick Express services between London Victoria and Brighton
Those passengers who were unable to travel today may use their existing ticket tomorrow morning.

A train has developed a fault earlier while running on the line from Haywards Heath towards Three Bridges. The line towards Three Bridges was blocked while the driver worked with the Fleet Control team and Network Rail to rectify the issue and resume train running through this area.
As fewer lines than normal are available in this area, services will be subject to residual delays of at least 45 minutes.
