CrossCountry services between Penzance and Bristol Temple Meads, and between Plymouth and Derby / Leeds / Edinburgh / Aberdeen, and also between Paignton and Birmingham New Street

Description

Lines have reopened between Tiverton Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads / Castle Cary, as the emergency services have safely completed their work with the support of Network Rail and the train operating companies.

Trains are now able to run again, but there continue to be some services cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised whilst service recovers.

Disruption is expected until 12:30.

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services:

  • The two CrossCountry services operating before and after your cancelled service

  • Great Western Railway services between Penzance / Paignton and Bristol Parkway in both directions

Please note Great Western Railway services are also affected for this disruption.

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
