Various routes across the Thameslink network

Description

A number of incidents across the Thameslink network are causing disruption to Thameslink services. As a result, services may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

There has been various incidents causing disruption to the Thameslink network including the core routes through London today. These include a number of signalling and electricity issues which are likely to have been due to the hot weather. There have also been a number of passenger disturbances.

As a result, services running between Brighton, London Bridge and London St Pancras International, and between St Albans City and Sutton are affected. Services outside of these areas may also be affected as a result.

Trains will likely be subject to delays, cancellations and last minutes alterations. You can travel on your normal route, but it is likely journeys will take 20 to 30 minutes longer than usual so please allow extra time.
