Description

A track defect in the Hebden Bridge has meant that some trains have had to run at a reduced speed. Network Rail engineers are currently on site to carry out repairs.

Disruption is expected until 04:00.

TransPennine Express customer information:

If you have a TransPennine Express train ticket dated for 07/09/25, you will be able to use your existing ticket on another TransPennine Express service today, 08/09/25. The route is expected to be open as normal from the start of service. You will not need to buy a new ticket or change your existing ticket to travel.

If you choose not to travel by train, you will be entitled to a full refund.

Additional information:

TransPennine Express services are diverting via Todmorden due to the Huddersfield station upgrade work.
