Description

All lines have reopened following a fault on a train at Todmorden. However, as services recover, trains running between Todmorden and Burnley Manchester Road / Hebden Bridge may still be delayed by up to 35 minutes, cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected to continue until 17:00.

Train services are able to call at stations between Rochdale and Todmorden in both directions however services are subject to short notice delays and cancellations.

You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.

You can travel on the following operators and routes using your Northern ticket at no extra cost:

• Metrolink services between Manchester and Rochdale.

• The following Bee Network buses on the following routes - 17, 17A, 18, 41, 115, 116, 135, 149, 159, 163, 435, 436, 471, 456, 457, 458

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

• Alternative TransPennine Express services between Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Piccadilly and Doncaster, and between Leeds and York / Hull

• Northern services between Leeds and York / Hull

• Bee Network - this free service runs every 10 minutes, with stops conveniently located on the station approach at both Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria. It's approximately 20-minutes between the two stations
