Description
A fault with the signalling system between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells is causing disruption to journeys between these stations. Trains between Tonbridge and Hastings may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 20:15.
What's happened?
We have been advised of a failure of part of the signaling system between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. Response staff are on site and investigating the fault. In order to reduce the delay through the area, each train will travel with an authorised person (pilot) on board, to help trains through the area affected by the signalling fault.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains through Tunbridge Wells will be delayed by up to 30 minutes, altered or cancelled while the team on site are working to resolve the issue. Only one train is allowed to travel through the affected area, so some trains will be held at stations, awaiting the arrival of the pilot from the train coming from the opposite direction.
What should I do?
Please allow extra time to complete your journey and check before you travel.
